Exhibit highlight Many factories and cars operate by burning fossil fuels, and large amounts of waste heat are dumped into the environment. Reuse of waste heat is highly required to make effective utilization of limited resources. In order to regenerate this waste heat with high efficiency, the "thermoacoustic engine" has attracted much attention in recent years. The thermoacoustic engine exploits the phenomenon that the gas in the narrow tubes self-excited by setting the temperature gradient above a certain value in the narrow tubes. It is possible to realize a heat recovery device capable of generating and cooling through the generated sound waves in thermoacoustic engine.
