Exhibit highlight In a sea area deeper than 200 m, a connecting type floating system is optimal. Triangular coupled movable parallelogram buoyant structure was confirmed by trial experiment that the verticality of the wind turbine tower is easy to maintain even if a large wave comes. A vertical axis wind turbine is the most desirable to stably connect the wind turbine. The author has studied specifications of floating offshore wind power system for ten years. As a result, author has proposed a vertical axis wind turbine with a flip-up method. Even in a strong wind, the vertical axis wind turbine with flip-up mechanism don’t need to stop the rotation with a brake and able to continue power generation. Large horizontal axis wind turbines have been largely used. As a result of examining the collaboration of the horizontal axis wind turbine and the triangular coupled movable parallelogram buoyancy structure, the feasibility has come to be clarified, so the author would like to report it briefly.
